Our goal is to raise $25,000 by December 31, 2022. Monies donated will go toward beverage alcohol training & education for BIPOC & other under-represented persons in Ontario. About Drinkclusion
Drinks Ontario recognizes that a diversity of voices brings strength to the beverage alcohol industry through new and different perspectives, experiences, and knowledge. Drinkclusion was formed by Drinks Ontario in 2020, with support from Vinequity and LCBO, in order to focus on increasing diversity, equality and inclusion in our industry through 3 core initiatives:
CAREER BUILDER PROGRAM
We will work to encourage and facilitate careers in the beverage alcohol industry for under-represented individuals through a variety of initiatives including webinars, internships, mentorship, and a jobs board. We are currently looking to recruit 10 industry veterans for our mentorship program.
DRINKS ONTARIO MEMBER RESOURCES
In order to ensure that Drinks Ontario members have the information and resources needed to implement their own diversity and inclusion initiatives, we will facilitate educational workshops, host webinars, and share diversity articles on a regular and ongoing basis.
