It is with excitement we announce our partnership with the Canadian Master Sommeliers
When asked, the group of Canadian Master Sommeliers had this to say about the partnership:
We are delighted to announce the finalizing of an initiative to further enhance our support of the wine industry in Canada, and especially to foster ethnic, racial, and gender diversity within it. We've found an amazing partner in the non-profit organization Vinequity to help us establish a scholarship fund for Canadian BIPOC students wishing to pursue CMS programming. We have also pledged to engage in mentoring qualified Canadian BIPOC candidates in order to open, create and highlight opportunities within the industry.
Vinequity is working with Jennifer Huether, Bruce Wallner, Élyse Lambert, John Szabo and Pier-Alexis Soulière to bring scholarship and mentorship opportunities to the Vinequity community.
