My professional wine career has included working in a wine retail shop which included keeping track of stock, ordering wine & spirits, helping run tastings & events. On the somm side I worked in a few different restaurants; Revel which focused on new world wines, Bündok that had a focus on French and Canadian wine, and currently Loop Line which focuses on smaller producers.

Hi Vinequity!

I learnt about you from the Grape Witches. I ve been attending their wine education hours since 2020 and i am a loyal customer of their wine store
I work as a bartender since 2014 in Canada ( i moved from Peru to Montreal, QC in 2013) since then i started learning about spirits and wine, through work and seminars.
I have my WSET 2 in wines and most recently attended the 2 full day master sensorial class last Spring. I will study my WSET 3 in March 2023
When i travel i try to go to places with wine counties so i can study and know more about this industry. In October 2021 i was able to go to Okanagan valley with only goal to explore the region. It was life-changing

Im a restaurateur in Toronto for over 15 years, currently own a restaurant bar in st. Lawrence Market area, I just came back from the UK after studying culinary at the Le Cordon Bleu and working at a wine bar. I'm in the process of opening a wine bar in Toronto. Our aim is to work with small vineyards and be able to give our customers a variety of wine choices that can be purchased at a reasonable price by the glass. An environment where people of different ethnicities and social backgrounds can dress casually, relax and enjoy a glass as it is meant to be and be able to expand their knowledge about wines.

Hi! 👋🏾

I'm Amanda, an aspiring Wine Maker from Toronto. After working a harvest season in Niagara, I am eager to get into making natural, low-intervention wine. Before my time in the winery, I worked as a freelance UX design consultant for the food & wine industry in Toronto, as well as a visual merchandising specialist for large retailers across North America.

I am a visual, hands-on, curious team player. I love working with people and vines.

I believe in simplicity, intention, and having fun!

Maxim Atanassov

I´m the founder of Vino Al Vino.

Vino Al Vino is a Canadian wine importer based in Alberta. We focus on sustainable, organic, biodynamic & natural wines and operate across Western Canada.

We only work with producers who farm organically and use a deft hand in the cellars, skilled in the art of doing less. We search out the wines that are labours of love, works of art, and teleportation devices. Wines with a message in a bottle. Wines that not only taste great but make you feel great supporting a farm-to-table culture and a healthier environment. Nourishing, food-friendly, unadulterated wine.

Finding and supporting these passionate vignerons and bringing their carefully farmed and obsessive works of art to thirsty Canadians is what makes us tick. We get the privilege of connecting the line between these creative minds in their vineyards and cellars to the receptive minds and palates of our wine loving friends here at home.
